Reporting to the Board of Directors, responsible for the complete commercial and operations performance of the Company with 60 employees, managed through 6 direct reports. Overall accountability for development of new port facilities, managing cross functional teams including Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, Project, Engineering, and facilities development.

Leading the complete developed and leading the growth and development strategy, complete P&L responsibility of USD24m annually and ensuring ROI targets are met. Spearheading the complete account management of B2B and Government clients to offer customised solutions leading to organic growth.

Key Achievements:

Identified, spearheaded and implemented a complete strategic change in the growth direction through product diversification:

-Led the setup of the Logistics (USD2.5m revenue contribution p.m), Project and Engineering (USD2m revenue contribution) Hydrocarbon’s export/import (USD24m revenue p.a) business units – this included the complete company set up, operations management, talent recruitment and providing strategic direction.

Led the growth of organic revenues by 300% y-o-y, and an increase in net profits by 35% - exceeding targets.

Developed and managed relationships with Shell (BGC) leading to the Company being awarded the biggest Gas Project in GCC and a major expansion for Shell in BGC Iraq – value USD36m.

Successfully restructured the division following the Covid 19 Pandemic including the development/implementation of all Job descriptions, SOP’s, SLA’s, Policies/procedures, and a competency-based framework for performance management.

Obegi Chemicals Group, Dubai, MENA Jul 2016 – Jan 2018

Group Manager – Projects & Supply Chain (Channel and SC Development)

Collaborated with the CEO/Owner, accountable for the complete Supply Chain Management, SC Solution Development and 0Operations. Provided strategic direction and leadership to a direct team of 8 and indirectly responsible for a team of 25 Group staff.

Responsible for all aspects of channel partner account and supplier relationship management. Also accountable for Liquid Bulk and Dry Warehousing Facilities development, evaluation, optimization and rationalization. Additionally, oversaw the complete supply chain development management of 7 subsidiaries in the MENA, GCC and Europe from a governance and KPI management perspective.

Designed and rolled out a new governance and performance management system leading to efficient and streamlined operations.

Project managed the build of an MRP structure (USD50m) across 7 multifunctional subsidiaries.

NT&S Energy Ltd., Dubai, GCC Feb 2015 – Jun 2016

Director Projects & Business Development

Reported to the CEO, accountable for the complete business development of the Projects unit, including biding, proposal writing, tendering, and post award implementation. Responsible for the complete account management of key accounts including ExxonMobil, BP, Shell, Weatherford, Halliburton and KOC. A senior member of the team led oilfield services, EPC, O&M, logistics and SCM, whilst providing strategic direction and leadership to a team of 50 and indirectly managing the subcontractors with 150 employees in all.
