During my tenure here I excelled in the areas of Human Resources and Civilian Administrative Support, CAC office support and Customer Service for the ASG-KAF. I processed over 500 different transactions to include Civilian End of Tour Awards, Extensions, Remissions, Rest and Relaxation Leave (R&R), Sponsorship, In an out Processing, contractor personnel status reporting and personnel accountability reporting for the ASG-Kandahar staff. My strong points and recognized accomplishments was that I created a very effective online filing system not only for HR but for all of ASG-KAF in which will most likely be utilized for years to come. I also aided my peers and took on the role of the ASG-Kandahar payroll expert and reviewed an average of 27 timesheets weekly for accuracy and other payroll related documents for the entire ASG-Kandahar staff. I displayed devotion and dedication to duty by completing training and became Common Access Card (CAC)/RAPIDS certified and covered down in the CAC office multiple times while still handling my Civilian Admin responsibilities. I processed over 2000 CAC resets to personnel identification numbers and issued new cards for promotions, newly hired contractors, and Coalition Soldiers. I assisted in the training of additional personnel to cover daily operations of the CAC office during rest and relaxation leaves and during periods of hiring lag which reduced the waiting times whose credentials would otherwise have expired preventing them from accessing their workstations. Though not a part of my job responsibilities, I displayed dedication to the organization by assisting with the cleanup of the CAC office which was vital to an impending inspection. During an unscheduled ASG-A, Staff Assistance Visit (SAV), I played a vital role in the success of the SAV and received recognition from higher headquarters on a job well done.
