PERSONAL STATEMENT

MaryJoyce is a Kenyan citizen 56yrs old with strong Christian values and the fear of God, compassionate, reliable, humble, generous, respectful, understanding, and easy to deal with. Having worked for the better part of my life until the year 2020 when the company due to Covid19 pandemic decided to downsize its workforce. A single mother to two children a daughter and a son who are already grown up. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

Honest, trustworthy, and possessing a high degree of integrity. Able and willing to multitask and prioritize work schedules to meet deadlines and achieve results. Time-conscious and dedicated to meet meeting timelines and achievement of the set goals and objectives. CAREER OBJECTIVES:

To utilize the knowledge I have and produce to the best of my ability. To work faithfully in any given task with no or under minimal supervision.

WORK HISTORY

All the working life I worked in the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Finance department as an Accounts Clerk, Revenue Clerk, and lastly as Cashier. WORK EXPERIENCE

Have been able to handle every kind of payment and document namely LPOs, LSOs, Vouchers, Contracts payments which are done partially, Invoices, Debits, and Credit notes. Managing of Petty Cash, Deposits, and Withdrawals both Cash and Cheques and custodian of Accountable documents among other duties.

Experience with both manual and the ERP accounting system which was in place. EDUCATION BACKGROUND

2020:Diploma in Caregiving from Alison online courses. 2008-2012: Diploma in Business Management (DBM) from Nairobi University. 2013-2019: Other short courses namely, Customer Care, Supervisory Management, Revenue collection, Records Management, and Credit Risk Management among others. 1992: Account Clerk Certificate (ACNC) from Devonshire College of Accountants 1975-1985: Primary and secondary School years.

HOBBIES:

Reading Articles, Journals and Learning new things

NB: During my free time have been volunteering to attend the elderly in my area since it has been my passion.
