SUMMARY

WORK EXPERIENCE
March 2023 – Present. Team Leader, Starlight Society - Vancouver, Canada
●Lead a team of 10 to providing exceptional care to individuals/clients with development, physical and mental health disabilities.
●Improved existing system and policy for standard of care which resulted in improved satisfaction from clients and reduced violent outbursts from clients by 70%.
●Implemented excellent recruitment, training and onboarding protocols leading to increased retention of 200+% and reduction of onboarding time by 50%.
Oct 2017 – Jan 2022 Field/Project Coordinator, Family Health International - Nigeria
●Family Health International is an international US based NGO with over 4000 employees, and I had the privilege to directly partner with the United Nations to alleviate suffering of displaced refugees and terrorist victims from the Boko Haram insurgency.
●Oversee the management of 5 primary healthcare facilities, 8 health posts, 6 nutritional facilities, 4 child protection safe spaces and 4 Gender-based violence safe spaces, and water, sanitation and hygiene programming for 6 northeastern states in Nigeria which lead to reduced maternal mortality by 80%, children malnutrition by 75%, terminal disease and illness by 65%, increased access to care and pharmaceuticals by 90% and increased training of health care providers and clinicians by 90% efficiently and effectively prevented cholera outbreak in camps and communities over 5 years.
January 2017 – October 2017 Logistics and Project Manager, Premier Urgency International - Nigeria
●Supervised and managed set up of common warehouse, kitting area, training area, staff training and budget management for UN partners and the humanitarian community.
●Wrote project proposals, raised $500,000 of USD funding, and worked closely with the government in optimizing standard best practices of warehousing and logistics procedure.
●Successfully coordinated crisis response to cholera outbreak in communities to ensure smooth operations where millions of lives were saved in war torn Borno state, Nigeria.
June 2016 – Dec 2016. Deputy Project Manager, Mercy Corps - Nigeria
●Implemented program to deradicalize youth influenced by insurgent terrorist groups.
●Was able to over achieve of 140% on the goal of reaching 7000 youth on budget and within the project timeline
●Work closely with several government parastatals and agencies to strategically achieve the desired goals of multi-dimensional project by united nations and other implementing partners.
