Senior Automation Engineer/Architect
Developed multiple automation frameworks using UFT (VBScript), Selenium (Java, C#), Oracle Functional Testing and Rational Functional Tester (Java). These frameworks were configured to test both API and UI. Development has been completed on Eclipse, OpenScript and Visual Studio. Created Java methods that used existing RFT logic incorporating custom reporting and error handling. Lead a team of automation engineers to complete a proof of concept and continued into the development of the resulting projects. Performed Test Data management on several projects. The projects included a framework that incorporated test script version control, integrated script management (Rational Quality Manager), Custom reports and keyword script development. Worked with multiple clients with different automation needs. Used a wide array of technologies including TestNG, Maven, Cucumber, Selenium Web driver, Coypu, HP UFT, Visual Studio (C#), Azure,JSON, XML, HTML and Excel POI.
Used Selenium in an array of languages (C#, Python, and Java). Active in an agile team using TFS.
Dived into CI/CD on a current project working with Jenkins (and Bamboo) and Report Portal.
In 2019 branch out to the RPA realm with UiPath and BluePrism.
Client Specific Work
Kansas City Insurance Company
Used UIPath to automate customer service calls by integrating with the existing IVR. Once directed to the appropriate department the RPA then performed such tasks as placing an email or a phone call to the person(s) dedicated to that issue type. Also using document scraping was able to gather PI information provided in a customer service email inbox. Lastly based on the types of calls and emails was able to produce reporting on time saved and closed customer issues.
