Mechanical Technician

Identifying Mechanical Seal make, and keeping record of incoming and outgoing Seals.

Dismantling and Assembling used Seals coming into the workshop from GC’s to check the damage.

Identifying whether the seal is repairable or not by checking the amount of damage present.

Coordinating with different teams – GC Maintenance team, Workshop team.

Before dismantling Check if the suction and discharge valves are closed. If not, close them manually.

After dismantling pump check the condition of impellers, bearings, casing, shafts, mechanical seal etc. carefully and conditioning overall for proper functioning and working under normal condition.

Perform dismantling and assembly of pumps.

Perform Priming of pumps as required during operation and breakdown.

Planning the necessary work request as and when necessary.

Maintenance of Gas Compressor, conditioning of valves piping systems, any abnormalities at suction or discharge sides.

Routing checks the abnormal sound if any, temperature, pressure etc.

Support the operation team in case of changeover of compressor in case if any maintenance action required.

Changes of thrust valves suction or discharge as per field operating compressor condition and as instructed accordingly.
