Enter insurance/verification into computer and scan appropriate identifications into database

Enter/update patient demographics into database

Confirmation calls to patients and obtain additional information if needed

Greet patient as the enter office and as they leave the office

Check-in patients, ask for updated information such as phone number, insurance if needed, etc.

Address walk-ins, regarding illnesses to be seen, and entering patient cases (regarding medication refills, forms to be filled out, referral requests, etc.)

Check-out patients-scheduling follow up appointments, printing paperwork (lab orders, lab results, referrals, etc.) and collecting copayment/deductible/co-insurance required by insurance at time of visits.

Protect patients’ privacy as required by HIPPA guidelines.

Answer multi-line phone system and direct call to the appropriate personnel or take messages for return calls.

Deliver high quality customer service to sustain patient and workflow.
