Also verified the implementation of the QA Program for other S/G work activities with included the surveillance/inspection of primary manway bolt threads and associated washers, removal of manway closure bolts, cleaning of manway bolt holes, mock-up training, document review of work packages, mechanical plugs, stabilizers, procedure review, etc. Some of the subject activities were verified using video

cameras (vision computers) and audio.

Although primarily assigned to the Reactor Coolant Pump Crew to perform mechanical inspections, also performed subject inspections for the Refueling and Steam Generator Crews which included torquing, unlatching of the control rod drive shafts, wrapper plug installation, gasket installations, handhole cover installations and associated torquing, calibration of Orbisphere dissolved oxygen meters, reactor vessel stud hole cleanliness, reactor coolant pump motor north/south and east/west swing checks, RCP shaft centering, back seating, breakaway torques, running torques, Upper Internals Lift, lower bearing seal clearances, vertical lift of shaft and oil lift pressure, etc.

Performed electrical inspections in relation to the installation and termination of the Control Rod Drive Mechanism (CRDM) cables and the Digital Rod Position Indicator (DRPI) cables from the North and South Connector Panels to the connection locations on the reactor head, as applicable. Also verified the routing layout of the Control Rod Drive Mechanism (CRDM) cables in the South Cable Rack.

During the pre-outage and outage, performed VT-2 and VT-1 examinations as applicable, respectively, in accordance with Exelon Nuclear Visual Examination Procedures and ASME Section XI 1989 Edition, Subsection IWA 5000, of bolted connections in ASME Class 1 and 2 borated systems designed for the purpose of controlling reactivity. Subject examinations were performed to determine whether

there was evidence of borated water leakage, boric acid residue, degradation of pressure retaining boundary due to corrosion, as applicable. Examinations required VT-2 Examiner Level II signature signoffs, Exelon (Utility) Level III
