Site supervisor - Erbil Combine Cycle Power Plant - June 2013 – April 2019 In my current role taking control all the equipments in combine cycle system which refer to Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) to recover the maximum of the remaining energy contained in the flue gas at the outlet of gas turbine, the recovered heat is transferred to feed water in order to produce steam at the two different pressure levels required by the steam turbine, the Generator which connected with steam turbine to produce electricity (over all generation 1500 MW) . The HRSG scope includes heat exchangers, boiler casing, boiler inlet and outlet ducts, diverter damper, pre-heater re-circulating pumps, blow down tank, boiler drums, expansion joints, piping, different types of valves and instrumentation, other miscellaneous equipment such as LP and HP steam by pass, feed water tank (one for two boiler), feed water pumps,condensate extraction pumps, condensate transfer pumps, gland steam condenser, internal drain tank, ACC air cooling condenser, steam jet air ejector, condensate collection tank, steam duct drain pot, AUX. steam lines, dosing and sampling systems, nitrogen distribution circuit and water treatment plant .

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

• Identifying operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; completing troubleshooting procedures.

• Operation and troubleshooting of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) with maximum efficiency following design parameters.

• Operation of Multi-stage gas turbines and steam turbines (High Pressure & Low Pressure) as per guideline and standard operation procedures.

• Responsible of handling normal plant operation including start up and shutdown.

• Responsible of handling emergency plant operation procedures including blackouts and trips.

• Ensuring smooth and continuous operation of the plant and its mechanical equipment at the optimum level.

• Following and Ensuring adequate safety measures to fulfill zero accidents philosophy.

2- I got a training for natural gas sweetening Unit . Site Engineer - Habib Al-Khoury Trade & General, (Private Sector) May 2011 - May 2013 My position with Habib Al Khoury, involved the end to end supervision of the Sewage and Water Channel Systems, for a number of clients, across all sectors. These include Hospitals, Hotels and Project – Anstia Hospital, Erbil Project – Hotel Rien, Erbil TCV – $150-$200K TCV – $200k

My position here involved the supervision and implementation of a number of sub contracts to the main Dam project. I managed 17 staff, including - Engineers, management office, building team, drivers and security. I was responsible for all the delivery milestones and responsible for the budget of the projects.

I was in charge of the implementation of the following contracts, which were executed on behalf of the Government -

Project – Process treatment for soil collapse, Houses 3 & 4 Gomaspan Site TCV $ 20K Project (Not including the salaries of the staff) Period – 3 Months

Details - The Gomaspan project had built 15 houses for the site workers of the Dam. Two of these houses had suffered subsistence, and required process treatment. My team managed the design and execution of this project.

I was in charge of the supervision of the contractor, on behalf of the Government - Project – Bastora Road Project (36Km)

TCV – $80K

Period – 18 Months

Details - This project involved building a new highway for the team. I supervised the sub contract team, designing the new road.

When joining the dam project, I was a junior engineer. With time, my role and responsibilities increased, to a supervisory level and the then a managerial level. As an Engineer my responsibilities and duties involved the following –

• Supervisor for installing submiserible pump in the site of well in Gomaspan region

• Supervisor for install electrical line (11Kv) from electrical substation to Gomaspan site

• Install a compact unit for water in Gomaspan site

• Designing sketches for the design teams, using Auto Cad
