OBJECTIVE:

NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Performed admirably as a team member in numerous scenarios, many of an emergent nature, over a 25+year career.
Implemented systems and procedures used to document building, incident, and safety inspections and reports.
Understand the value of Risk Management and implemented systems to reduce liabilities from the insurance perspective.
Creatively envisioned the implementation of a Chemical Inventory System at a major regional institution of research and higher education.
Accomplished within one year the recognition of need, development, implementation, and evaluation of a Learning Management System used to train over 4000 employees.
Instrumental in gaining over $2 Million in premium reductions for programs utilized through Workforce Safety Insurance over a four-year period.
Worked extensively with the North Dakota Department of Health to correct and improve radiation, environmental, air quality, underground tank, and chemical programs. These improvements either saved or led to the accreditation of numerous programs at the university.
Aided in the development and awarding of the Biomedical, Biological, and Facilities Safety Award for safety achievements within laboratories and worksites at the university. These initiatives have led to the start of alternate programs in areas such as Dining and Chemistry at the university.
Instrumental in the overall move and clean up of the School of Medicine, the Chemical of Interest, and the Cyclotron unit, both from and to their new locations.
Have worked very favorably with many of the construction companies from the Grand Forks and surrounding areas on all sizes of projects including the Memorial Union, the Nisler Business College, and the demolition of numerous university structures.
Familiar with many of the architectural and engineering firms within the area and have continually worked well with them.
Spearheaded two very successful fundraisers: 9/11 New York Firefighter Relief Fundraiser and the Hurricane Katrina Fundraiser, both of which raised approximately $50K.
