Relevant nursing experience:
Nigeria registered nurse (RN) and also registered neuro psychiatric nurse (RPN) with good experience in long-term care, Hospital and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
Conducts Initial Patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on Patient’s needs and goals.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by Physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor Patient for changes in their condition and adjust care plans as necessary.
Document Patient information and care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system.
Communicate with Patients and their families to provide education and support, answer questions, and address concerns.
Collaborate with any interdisciplinary team members including Physicians, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Social workers, and others to provide comprehensive care to Patients.
Advocate for Patient rights and ensure Patients receive ethical and competent care.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Participate in continuing education activities to keep up to-date with current nursing practices and new technologies.
Follow all hospital polices, protocol, and safety guidelines.
Adapt to different healthcare settings and effectively integrate into new teams.
Monitor Patients conditions, detect changes and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Available to work 8 hours daily from Monday to Friday, with additional on-call overtime as required.

Duties Includes-:
Welcome Patients and take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensure infection control and conduct specimen collection.
Provide safety and health education to Patients and staff.
Provide nursing services, within the confined scope of practice.
Monitor Patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Report directly to nurse manager.
Proper record of all nursing duties/activities.
Proper medication administration.
Proper handling of all relevant information about a resident/patient.
Accurate medication record/accountability.
Skilled assessment of resident/patient and accurate recording of findings.
Use of electronic medication administration record sheet.
Responsible for the assessment of patient care needs.
Planning/implementing and evaluation of health care.
Responsible for primary health care giving and delivery of clinical responsibilities.
Provision of quality counsel and education of patients/staff on how to minimize the impact of a disease in line with best practices.
Refer patients to specialist when required.
Perform any other duty as may be assigned.
