Ben Neivert

I have over twenty-five years of experience in the United States and abroad in vision development and developing and implementing corporate and technology strategy, customer experience solutions, strategic planning, operations improvement, performance management, supply chain management, corporate governance, and workshop facilitation at the chief executive, chief operating officer, chief information officer, chief financial officer, and board level.

For three years, I worked in the Governor of Colorado of Office of State Planning and Budgeting to design and support the implementation of the transformation of State Government into a customer-focused, operationally excellent culture. Considered one of the most innovative approaches to change in a large organization in the world.

As president at Optimal Performance and Strategy, the leader of Ernst & Young’s technology strategy practice for Asia-Pacific, and prior to that as a partner with Ingersoll Engineers, I led local, regional, and global teams that developed, planned, and executed large and small projects for several of Australia’s largest banks, Australia’s largest telecommunications company, one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, one of the largest commercial aircraft manufacturers, the world’s largest commercial coal companies, one of the world’s largest technology companies and many other enterprises across 12 industry groups and 9 countries. I am passionate about the idea of helping successful people be more successful: bringing my knowledge, skills, and experience to each client and developing a unique solution to exceed their goals. I have a reputation for being as comfortable and effective at talking and working with people at the board and senior executive levels as I am talking and working with the frontline or customer-facing staff; a useful skill in understanding culture, challenges, capabilities, and vision.

I have an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney, Australia, and both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate Degree in Commerce from the Florida Institute of Technology. In addition, I was an Adjunct Faculty member at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, where I lectured in operations and technology management.

The effort also included designing and supporting the management of a leadership academy for 36 key senior leaders across the executive branch of State Government. • Led Trudeau & Associates in the USA and Canada, including entry into local and state government agencies and U.S. financial institutions.

Press coverage as DareStep Leader included The Australian, NZ InfoTech, The Financial Times in London, e-commerce Today, and the ABC Radio Network, as well as CGE&Y internal global news coverage in recognition of sales success. I was also a primary contact for research analysts to inform them of CGE&Y capabilities.
