MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, Rusken Packaging

Maintaining all machines throughout the facility including Flexo machines, Die cutting machine, Mosca banders/unitizer all while keeping a clean and safe work space. Bearing replacement, maintaining conveyor systems, fabrication, mig and stick welding. Electrical troubleshooting, changing out motors and gear boxes, chains, sprockets etc. Scheduled Preventative maintenance on all equipment. Fork lift operation, man lift operation, and ginie lift operation. Use of all hand tools, band saws, cutting torches, and plasma cutter.

2016 – 2021

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, CI Rotomolding / Step 2

Provide leadership and organization for maintenance, construction and fabrication projects needed. Responsibilities include vast mechanical procedures as changing bearings, switching gearboxes as well as trouble shooting them, trouble shooting and programming PowerFlex VFD’s, maintaining and keeping conveyors performing properly, continuously providing preventive maintenance to all machines in the facility such as Banding machine, 3m tape machine, Rotoline 2.60 Machine, drill fixtures, conveyors and drives, foaming guns and all foaming and molding operations. Chemical transfer from offloading the truck to bulk tanks to switching from bulk storage to day tanks. Welding all materials which includes mig, stick and tig welding to fabricate and solve and reconstruct spiders for molds and safety requirements. Installed maintenance cage fencing as well as the safety fencing around each rotomolding machine. Set 6 20’ Jib Cranes in the facility and now keeping them at safety requirements as well as all repairs and wiring of hoist and troubleshooting them as needed. Forklift operation. Running all tubing material for air supply in building as well as inner air for spiders and molds. Acting very safe but quickly in all my duties because I understand maintenance is not just a job but a responsibility and way of life.
