• Ongoing direct management and supervision of all aspects of operations and maintenance of approximately 4.5 million adjusted sq. feet of GSA physical space. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Advisory Duties: performs a high-level advisory role with respect to creating, revising and/or maintaining organizational policies, regulations, facility operations, emergency protocols, repair protocols, maintenance protocols and activities, security related matters, space and building allocations, etc.

Currently advises senior leadership on matters relating to various agency plans, specifications, statements of work, and various polities and regulations.

Currently serving as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to advise program officials in the areas of facility operations, security, space management and design, among others.

• Supervisory Duties: supervises building managers, team members and/or technical staff throughout various assigned duties and tasks.

• Budgetary Responsibilities: involved with the planning, development and/or approval of the annual budget, including both short and long-term plans for funding, manpower, and material acquisitions. Budget matters further include, but are not limited to: construction projects, reimbursable alterations, relocations, as well as decisions as to what projects can be accomplished in-house versus through outside contractors.

• Management & Communication Responsibilities: (1) negotiation with various agencies to reach mutually beneficial solutions and maintain ongoing relations; (2) direct communication and decision making with regard to vendors; (3) administration of contracts, e.g. energy management, custodial operations, food services, recycle and waste management; and (4) resolve disputes between tenant agencies.

• Responsible for overseeing and managing various programs relating to operational requirements and demands for facilities, force protection and logistics in Iraq within the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force.

• Advisory Duties: consulted and reported to top level government and foreign agency officials, as well as their team members regarding ongoing plans for assignment and utilization of facilities, as well as compliance with various life safety codes, environmental codes, jurisdictional codes, and survivability.

• Deputy Director Duties: provided solutions to challenges; facilitated mediation and settled disputes amongst and within military agencies; and provided ongoing information and advice, including authoritative interpretations of Department of Defense policies and procedures. Worked independently to set overall goals and objectives for operational programs within Joint Special Operations.

Effectively established and communicated timeline demands for project completions, often requiring real-time and immediate assessment and communication.

• Communication and Problem Solving: collaborated with targeting officer(s) regarding intelligence and counterintelligence related matters. • Managed the operation and maintenance of approximately 2.5 million adjusted square feet of GSA space. This encompasses various service centers in the National Capital Region (NCR) and several buildings in the Washington D.C., metropolitan area. Duties included, but were not limited to:

Administration of contracts; Ongoing communication with vendors and outside parties;

Regular meetings with team members to establish priorities and scheduling matters;

Mediated and resolved disputes both intra and inter-agency;

Supervised various team members; and

Advised top management with regard to the creation, revision and/or execution of policies, regulations and planning development. Also advised with respect to emergency management, repair, maintenance and matters relating to ongoing building operation.
