An enhancement project, which V.I.M.S. pays incentives to wholesale/retail vehicles based on the incentive programs that the clients encoded. Auditors request extract of sales data for particular dealers within a certain period and load the data to their laptops. The Auditor visits the Dealers and makes changes to the data in the Workbench Application, then downloads the modified data, requests a mainframe job to create a What-if report with the corrected sales information. The Audited data is also loaded to the Mainframe for Corporate Approval and after the approval; the Corporate Sales Audit deletes the Audit.

Responsibilities:

Attended extensive meetings with both Business and field auditors to gather requirements.

Analysis and understanding the requirements and functional specifications.

Preparation of TS (Technical Specifications) based on the existing functionalityand requirements.

Created detailed technical design specification for enhancing the batch programs, care was taken to re-use most of the existing components/modules.

Developed new batch programs using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

The Existing Access database table structure was modified to include four columns that are required to capture the initiated timestamp, Authorizer ID, Initiator ID and Authorized timestamp. BTM performs the requested services by calling various General Purpose Modules (GPM) and send the Response to COL via HBOS message switch.

Customer Information System (CIS) is the central repository where all other applications in the Bank interface will obtain the Customer information. As part of migration, LBG planned to transfer all the data's from HBOS database to LBG database.

MI Extract: This will extract the data from HBOS database based on the customer's requirement. CPC Conflicts: The data that is present in CIS database will be edited and made compatible to fit into LBG database.

Product Migration: Based on the analysis of data present in CIS, LBG decided to migrate some of the Customer from HBOS to LBG database.
