Management Administrative and Supply Technician (This is a federal job) Conduct physical inventories and adjust and/or maintain inventory, stock, or/and property account records. Receive and lists or other documents specifying supplies or materials needed for planned programs or work operations and collate and assemble lists of equipment and parts needed for procurement plans. Process documentation for stock item receipts. Maintain such items in a supply area, issue material to shop or work center personnel, keep local stock records, reorder when stocks are low or at a specified reorder point, prepare standard reports such as variances between actual and estimated costs, and perform related stock receipt, storage, control and issue functions for expendable and nonexpendable items for a local organization. Operate computer terminals to perform records search, data input, and data corrections with using automated supply systems such as Unit Level Logistics System- Ground (ULLS-G), Fleet Management System (FLMS) and
Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system and Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS- Army).
Maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property and perform standardized property management control processes. Passing on instructions to workers received from supervisor and general manager. Contact customers, supply organizations, transportation units, and others to obtain material status information, follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of material to work sites. Search catalogs, records, or other data sources. Oversee stock maintenance at or within given levels and establish or/and adjust stock levels and reorder points using standard formulae and prescribed procedure. Advises the manager of a multi-function, fast pace logistical office on the practical and technical aspects of office administration, to include budgeting, supply management, personnel administration, data entry, and manage logistics files and performs staff support work in each of these areas. Initiate assignments by identifying immediate tasks to be performed. Recommends budget adjustments including reform budget allocations or work plans to deal with changing situations such as varying costs for equipment parts, or services, and changes in the availability of funds. Maintain and transfer funds between several unrelated appropriated fund accounts and several revolving fund accounts. Track nearly all financial, supply and other administrative transactions as the documentation flows through the office in both electronic form and on paper. Provide weekly workplan and any urgent topics or issues to Supervisor and General Manager to keep her well-informed of current progress.
