I started out in the call center with this company in Jan of 2015. My responsibilities included but not limited to assisting patients with questions about recent ER visits to various hospitals that we service. Most of these questions revolved around insurance. Also took complaints on services rendered and sent to correct person to look into. I received various forms and documents to send to correct departments within my company to get issues resolved. I moved to cash research in 2017. At that point I researched insurance payments as well as patient payments that were not posted and posted those which I could post. I moved to an administrative position in Oct 2017, where I mail out refund checks to insurances and patients. Also verify all paperwork for accuracy, verify that refunds are correct, and whatever I am asked to do. I am also a back up receptionist for the front desk-reception area.

I did Customer Service for the Columbus (Ohio) dispatch. I answered questions about customer bills and took payments for such. I also credited customers for missed papers and contacted Independent Contractors and their management to get the papers to the customers in a timely manner. I took complaints about Independent Contractors and deliver issues and passed them along to the managers for correction. I also signed up new customers and changed delivery methods as well as frequency of delivery.

I was an Independent Contractor for the Columbus Dispatch. My route was in Licking County (Newark and surrounding areas) Ohio. I was responsible for picking up papers at the designated drop off point and rolling and wrapping the papers for delivery. This was a 365 day a year job and I was out in whatever weather the day brought. I was hired to clean up the route from the last person who had it. There were many complaints on this route until I took it over. I not only cleaned it up but added new customers weekly. I always listened to my customers and delivered the papers where they wanted them placed. By the time I left the route, I had no complaints ever. I gave my customers my phone number so they could call me if there were any issues that needed to be corrected or if they needed the paper delivered in some other fashion. I had the opportunity to move to New Hampshire and work in the customer service part of the job and I took that opportunity. I, unfortunately, had to leave the delivery part as I relocated to New Hampshire from Ohio for the new opportunity.
