Position Title: QC Associate Scientist, QC Incoming

Primary Functions:

Inspected Raw materials, consumables, clinical labels, packaging materials, reagents and cleaning materials used in CART-T manufacturing during clinical and commercial phase etc., received from vendors.

Will have to work in a Warehouse setting and perform inspections in QC inspection lab

Demonstrated practical use of ANS/MIL-STD statistical sampling and inspection plans and review documentation to ensure compliance with all SOP’S and cGMP’s

Analyzed vendor documentation of quality (COA, COC, Sterility, etc.) to disposition material in LIMS database

Managed DOT and IATA regulated hazardous material shipment of sample for tests shipment of samples for tests performed at contract testing performed out to external contract laboratories when necessary

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

The QC Associate Scientist is responsible for supporting the testing and release of incoming materials used in CAR-T manufacturing during clinical and commercial

phases. Additionally, when needed, provide support with the authoring of technical documentation.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to follow and apply Global Regulatory and cGMP requirements.

Ability to author technical documents using Celgene QC templates.

Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, Osmolarity and pH, hands-on experience preferred.

Ability to meet timelines in all assigned projects and acclimate to changing priorities.

Ability to follow, review and revise SOPs.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Ability to recognize and communicate simple and complex problems with relevant team member, department management and cross-functional peers.
