EMPLOYMENT

I was enlisted into the service of the Nigerian Prison Service on 02-01-2009 with the rank of an inspector, grade level 7. Then I attended the mandatory 6 month basic recruit course. Upon the completion of the course, I was posted to the famous Kuje Prison. I was promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent 02

(ASP2) on 01-01-2016, that is grade level 8. On 01-01-2018, I was promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent 01 (ASP1). After my excellent performance in the service I got promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Corrections (DSC). I currently work here.

Nigeria Prison Service was changed to Nigeria Correctional Service by the act of Parliament in 2019.
