Experience installing, servicing and repairing vertical and horizontal milling machines. Experience installing, servicing and repairing bar feeders. Three years experience as a maintenance engineer, wrote and reviewed maintenance procedures, initiated improvements to equipment and helped with troubleshooting and repair strategies. Taught classes to maintenance personnel on equipment repair. Tracked maintenance and repairs using CMMS. Performed root-cause analysis. Other special projects assigned by maintenance manager and engineering manager. Twenty years experience as an industrial multi-craft maintenance technician, repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment. Ten years experience as a machinist operating various machines to include, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and others.
SUPERVISORY
Supervised, trained, and counseled a team of ten to twelve individuals. Established priorities and assigned work to ensure effective and efficient operations. Inspected completed work accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
MACHINIST
Performed and supervised the fabrication, repair, and modification of precision metallic and non-metallic parts with tolerance specifications of 002 millimeter. Supervised metal workshop activity. Adjusted, set up, and tuned various trim dies.
WELDING
Welded and cut materials using oxy/acetylene, mig, tig, and electric arc equipment. Worked with a variety of metals to include stainless steel, HRS, CRS, H-13, P2, A2, S7 titanium, and others. Performed metal repairs on vehicles and support equipment. Fabricated parts are not readily available to return machines to operational status.
COMPUTERS
Excellent computer skills with a variety of Windows and Msdos related software. Operated a computer bulletin board system with over two hundred users in a multitasking and local area network (LAN) environment with minimal downtime. Performed all service, repairs and upgrades of system. Fully conversant with most word-processing and spreadsheet programs to, include Word for Windows, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, excellent problem solving skills. Proficient with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500, Omron CX Programmer, Mitsubishi GX Works 2, GT Works 3, CX Designer, Fanuc FAPT Ladder 3 and Microsoft Visual Basic.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Inventoried and maintained capitol equipment, tools and stock. Processed work requests and requisition items necessary to support vehicles and aircraft. Functioned as production control clerk and quality assurance inspector, monitoring the workflow of three shops and thirty workers. Maintained plant 5S standards in an extremely fast paced environment. Proficient in Datastreams MP2, SAP, Maintenance Connect, Maximo and Plex maintenance tracking software.
MAINTENANCE
Extensive experience troubleshooting, servicing, maintaining, repairing and modifying a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic subsystems, to include presses, CNC lathes, grinders, machining centers, center less grinders, forklifts, mules, ovens, boilers, pick and place units, assembly machines and others. Have a very good working knowledge of Omron, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs, some experience with Siemens Step 7. Modified ladder logic and G code programming to implement error proofing and upgrade of machines. Reconciled each machines current parts requisition to insure that each item ordered had a good status. Provided technical guidance to personnel, interpreted complex diagrams. Experience with Fanuc robotics Yamaha robots, Yaskawa Motoman robots and CNC. Experience with Toyoda, NTC, Komatsu, Horkos and Enshu machining centers.
