Your advertisement for the position Social Worker, which was posted on 10th October, 2023 caught my attention. I was drawn to the advertisement as I would like to work for the position. I strongly believe that I am fully qualified for the position in terms of all the required points- academic, experience and skills stated on the post.
As a matter of experience, I am working as a Mental Health and Psycho Social Support Field Officer for the Ethiopian Red Cross Society /ERCS/ in Endaba Guna town in a project called Well-being and Resilience for Migrants and Vulnerable Communities-Migration Project, budgeted by the Danish Red Cross /DRC/.In addition, I'm working as an Acting Emergency Response Coordinator. I had worked as a Capacity Building Officer and delegate of Program Officer in Adi Harush Eritrean Refugee camp. I have also worked as an English teacher for thirteen years (five years in Governmental and eight years in Eritrean refugee camps). I used to coordinate, under the direct supervision of ARRA`s Protection Officer, the Association for the Disabled in May Ayni camp. The details are on my Curriculum Vitae /CV/.

• Communicated with other Implementing Partners so as our staff and refugee leaders get trainings;
• Worked closely with government authorities on refugee issues;
• Worked in keeping refugees` peace via the peace committee together with the local government and the Danish Refugee Counci /DRC/ in Adi Harush.
Worked as a delegate of Program Officer from June 2022 to September, 2022. Main duties:
• Followed up Education and Health activities;
• Worked closely with the UNHCR and the WFP during food and NFI distribution;
• Participated in coordination meetings about SGBV and Child Protection issues together with other stakeholders such as UNHCR, CVT, DICAC, IRC, HIS, DRC and others.
Worked as a teacher. Main duties:
• Prepared weekly and annual plans;
• Worked as a unit leader and department head in different years;
• Prepared modules and conducted an action research;

• Together with JRS` Counselling Department, I was helping my clients (the members of the association) to get different counselling services in every 20th day of the months.
• I used to work closely with RaDO- a National NGO that serves the Disabled.
