• Support production environment which makes different types of personal care products, shampoo, liquid
hand soaps, hand sanitizers, and body washes.
• Working as a team building specialist to support new operators on chemical processes and support daily
activities of a six-person team to ensure the most efficient processes are followed.

OPERATIONS LEAD
• Led an eight-person crew of dayshift and nightshift Chemical Processors and Fill Technicians, processing
different types of Liquid Media and buffer solutions in a Class 100 Clean Room environment, which
requires Clean Room certification for gowning and entry, product filling, cleaning after the fill and re-
sterilization.
• Possessed deep expertise in the use of Reverse Osmosis (RO) Unit for the making of Water for Injection
(WFI) water and also the use of Clean-in-Place (CIP) in the cleaning of this system and other filtration
systems.
• Validated all process batch records for completeness and accuracy.
KEY CHALLENGES/SOLUTIONS
• In recognition of problems associated with contamination of production lines due to the use of outdated cleaning
methods, leveraged Subject Matter expertise of Class 100 Clean Room environments making pharmaceuticals to train
departments and individuals in new ways of sanitization.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (2002-1981)
• Led the startup of the Gadoversetomide Process Project, which included the cleanup and changeover of some of the
un-used Ioversol equipment for the making of the new Gado product.
• Led the Final expansion project of the Ioversol facility which included major improvements in the process by
removing more harmful waste streams from the process, reducing production cost by an increase in batch size, and a
reducing cycle time.
• Provided guidance as a manufacturing consultant for the building of the company’s new Ioversol facility in Dublin,
Ireland, traveling to Ireland as a cultural exchange to help facilitate the building of this facility and its startup.
• Led next expansion and new process change in Ioversol called ASI which was required to reduce the overall cost of
making the product and to remove some of the harmful waste solution that was made when making Ioversol. This also
included adding a second control system in our intermediate building, 504, called the Delta V.
KEY CHALLENGES/SOLUTIONS
• Directly impacted manufacturing processes which improved the yields at Tyco Healthcare and reduced
costs by determining an over-replacement of filter cartridges on the ultra filtration units. As a result of
this being brought to the attention of an engineer, the team determined the root cause the business
recognized a $200,000 yearly cost reduction.
• Designed and implemented processes to produce new products, expanding capability of factory production by 30%.
Implemented production line upgrades, resulting in 25% increased capacity.
• Oversaw the first phase for the Ioversol expansion project which was required to increase production due to high
product demand and resulted in doubling the existing equipment in both buildings and installing a new process system.
