EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
Samuel Dupree brings 30+ years of experience in applying orbital mechanics, orbit propagation and orbit determination in both the systems and software engineering roles supporting IC and DoD ground systems programs.
Experienced in: requirements analysis, definition, decomposition, and allocation; algorithm development; experienced with batch and filter/smoother orbit determination softwares/algorithms in particular the use of GPS observations in orbit determination; test support and documentation.
Experienced in FORTRAN-66, Fortran-77 and Fortran-95 on various platforms (on an IBM System 390 under MVS, IBM RISC System 6000 under AIX (IBM’s version of UNIX) and Apple Macintosh under Mac OS X (BSD 4.3 version of UNIX), as well as various scientific and mathematical software libraries such as International Mathematics and Statistics Library (IMSL), the IAU Standards Of Fundamental Astronomy (SOFA) Software, and the SPICE Kernels from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
Familiar with Jupyter Notebooks, Python and MATLAB.
Familiar with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Familiar with STK, STK/Astrogator, and ODTK. Level-1 Certified in both STK and ODTK.
