The main tasks of the project were to analyze and evaluate disability insurance information and business performance requirements. Create practical solutions to fulfill the business needs that comply with quality standards and technical requirements.

•Participating in the planning, development, coordination and presentation of specific testing needs as appropriate to the quality assurance needs of the end user. Lead JAD sessions.

•Generated Business Requirement documents (BRD), Functional Specification design documents (FSD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).

The first national, full-service health insurer to offer a consumer-directed health plan, Aetna continues to lead the way with its Aetna HealthFund2 line of products, including HSA, HRA and RRA options. The project that I was worked is to improve the Claims Reimbursement user interface of Aetna for a better user experience and incorporate changes as per HIPAA guidelines. The main object of the system was to secure the health information entered by the user at the time of submitting the claim and also ensured the integrity and confidentiality of the user information.

Responsibilities:

•Prepared the Functional Specification Document (FSD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) as per SEI CMM standards.

•Used UML to create use case diagrams, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams. Developed flowchart and process diagram using MS Visio.

•Used the Rational Unified Process (RUP) to build the different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

•Maintained Traceability Matrix throughout the project.

•Worked on improvement of Claims Reimbursement User Interface for a better experience and incorporate changes as per HIPAA guidelines using the gap analysis.

The project was to create an information system for the client which is a web-based application with B2B portal. Worked on databases like oracle, MS Sql and DB2.

Responsibilities:

•Worked on Mutual Funds, Brokerage, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, and Sales and Marketing.

•Generated requirements for Capital Markets – Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management, Hedge funds, corporate actions, Brokerage and Trading Model within the scope of both the Front and Middle Office.

•Worked with the SME, Tech Lead and 3rd party vendors in gathering requirements and data transaction information related to Capital Markets - Online Brokerage, IVR trading, Conventional Brokerage, Orders, Trades Executed and SPS Orders for reinvestment agreement to write global specs.
