I'm looking to find employment where my customer service skills and clerical experience will be utilized. I have over 15 years experience working with the public and I have completed D.I.S.C. Customer Service Training. I have the skill and experience to succeed within a team setting as well as, the ability to work well independently. I handle approximately 150 groups from beginning to travel departure. I book hotel, air, transfers and excursions. I created bookings, changed and cancelled bookings. I pay travel agent commissions and send documents. I recently had a difficult situation where I had a large wedding group flying out of Florida to Mexico for a destination wedding and the airport flooded the day the group was departing for Mexico. The airport shutdown and left several guests without a flight to arrive in Mexico for the wedding. I was on the phone with the travel agent and guests and had to reroute 20 guests. Which meant the ground transportation, the hotel and flight had to be done in a very short period of time. I was able to effectively change all 20 guests and everyone was able to attend. I focused on the task before me and worked into the wee hours of the morning and coupled with a can do attitude enabled the wedding couple to have all their guests at the wedding.
