Duties:

●Perform chair side assistance during patient care.

●Maintain visibility for the dentist as they prepare teeth for treatment

by using isolite, air water syringe, high volume evacuator and suction tip to remove fluids and materials while retracting

tongue, cheek, and tissues.

●Place and remove rubber dams and

tofflemire with matrix bands, wedges or other isolation materials.

●Seat temporary crowns and permanent crowns prepared by the dentist.

●Provide pre- and post-treatment

for oral surgery including removing sutures.

●Place IV catheters for surgical patients.

●Operate platelet-rich fibrin centrifuge machine.

●Take impressions to construct night guards and athletic mouth-guards.

●Create custom impression trays and bite registrations.

●Operate digital dental radiographic equipment to capture intra-oral/panoramic, cephalometric and 3-D images.
