A company with 10 employees specializing in child early learning workstations and tablets with 500K – 1 million in annual revenue.

• Worked in Agile environment. Used Jira to setup tasks for building new versions of the software and fixing problems project. My manager setup the task and I designed, coded and sometimes expanded the tasks to subtasks modifying tables, screens and documented usage.

• Wrote C#.NET WPF code which executed in processes 3rd party game software. Working through threads of time options and processes of 3rd party game software to allow the user to select a game and run it while threads control how long user can play.

• Deployed Windows IoT on new machines and imaging AIO workstations and tablets. Customized Windows through registry and general policy to restrict usage and allow vendor software to run through batch and PowerShell scripts.

• Imaged machines and setup automatic installation using ghost software and backup software from WinPE memory stick.

Accomplishments

• Developed and modified Order Entry, EDI, Shipping, Invoicing, GL, AP, and AR using 4GL language for manufacturing software (ERP). Added aging report for AP similar to AR aging report. Incorporated EDI values through 856 advance shipping notices and 810, 880 invoices incoming

• Determined what the customer business needs and coming up with a solution by breaking down the problem, look for what data is needed and what new tables are needed, and implement the data entry, and implement reports or screens to what the customer needs to see.

• Wrote scripts for automation in crontab on Solaris UNIX to dumping data, loading data into Ingres database using Borne shell. Running cleanup scripts to remove temporary tables.

• Redesigned company’s website from HTML into PHP site to allow users to enter request of problems of the software and to allow private customer support screens.

• Customized Telesis MFG per customer requests in serial numbers, custom invoices, calculating boxes needed to fill truck. Creating MSDS based entries made per finished goods and bill of materials.

Accomplishments

• Configured, Designed, and Programmed Tax Interface application using Java, JSON and 4GL to update correct tax amount based on customer’s settings and rules.

• Built in 4GL code special inventory tracking system to allow the customer to save raw material and finished goods and be able to find available inventory in the warehouse using barcodes. Increased their storing and retrieving of inventory.

• Created tools ASP, C, and WPF to troubleshoot EDI transaction text files.
