Key Achievements and Responsibilities:

●Played a key role within a mega power plant to provide the Capital with electricity; effectively led all day-to-day HSE activities for the GE production team, leasing with both Construction, mechanical completion, and commissioning contractors.

●Development management systems for the construction phase and lead a team of five officers and advisers through the construction and installation and test running of megawatt dual fuel turbines from FAT ‘s to vibration run test, installation and commissioning of Nitrogen plant.

●Conducted OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 audits to schedule in accordance with corporate requirements and ensuring that all EHS Quality Work instructions (KPI’s) are completed on time.

2013 – 2015 HSE Consultant – ENI-Zubair, Iraq

Key Achievements and Responsibilities:

●Coordinated and managed all HSE issues for a $15m refit and upgrade programme, coordinating 6 HSE projects with the primary aim of reducing a high level of incidents.

●Used authority to halt the Zubair Oilfield production with the projected / potential loss of $1m per day over 14 days due to the lack of H&S environment and negligible training.

●Prepared and delivered solutions and initiated an H&S plan through a third party (STX), liaised with STX in the development of a recovery plan to improve safety competency.

●Advised on recruitment of a competent HSE Manager to ensure all targets were achieved, developing training for 3,000 employees and contractors in a multi-cultural environment.

●Led Construction and Mechanical Completion and commissioning SIMOPS and concurrent activity resolution meetings daily during transition to commissioning in readiness for handover to Operations.
