Hughes RiskApps Genetic Cancer Risk Calculation Application: Spearheaded pilot of genetic research program written by Dr. Kevin Hughes, Chief of Surgery, Harvard School of Medicine. Determined entire project scope including success criteria, earned approval for capital expenditure budget, initiated development environment and server setup in enterprise co-location, and procured all required office computer equipment.

-Deployed production environment at national level.

-Created/delivered program training to staff, geneticists, providers, and enterprise help desk associates.

-Introduced/presented product at semi-annual GREAT Steering Committee meeting.

New Presbyterian Medical Oncology Center, Dallas TX: Directed $3.3M merger of 3 floors into one contiguous 22K sq. ft. space encompassing ground-up buildout of oncology center housing 9 physicians and 70 personnel. Installed new 100 mg AT&T OPT-E-MAN circuitry, HP routers, switches, and cabling, Mitel phone system, and all office furnishings and computers.

-Coordinated employee move and brought all systems to full functionality in 3 days.

Mitel Telephone Refresh: Reevaluated systems of 220 oncology sites to expand data network capabilities and streamline operations.

-Saved 18.6% per year in phone communication costs by leveraging data network for voice convergence.

-Enabled redundancy for disaster recovery and peak load leveling as well as consolidation of multiple carriers into one dedicated resource.

-Optimized performance of leased equipment, doubling usability from 5 to 10 years.
