AUG 2008-APR 2010 - Asera Care Hospice, Mountville, PA: Provide assessment and emotional support to end of life patients and families. Assist with financial paperwork, educate and prepare living wills, DNR, DNI, and funeral planning. Provide opportunity for end of life review and clinical interventions to build coping strategies as physical and psychological difficulties surmount.

Therapeutic focus centered on evaluating behavioral difficulties and increasing coping skills of adolescents voluntarily placed in a Community Residential home (CRR) setting. Skills included assessment through use of the DSM-IV as a diagnostic tool, family systems, crisis intervention, brief therapies, individual therapy, family mediation, school team treatment involvement and referrals to community resources.

FEB 2000-MAR 2003 - Berks County CYS, Reading, PA: Managed a caseload of 15-20 families within the placement unit. Responsibilities included referrals to needed services to facilitate reunification or create an alternate permanency plan, home visitations, preparation of documentation and testimony for court proceedings, complete child abuse investigations, and assisted in the training of foster parents quarterly. Transferred counties in Feb 2000-Jan 2001: from Lancaster CYS Boys & Girls Club, Lancaster, Pa. Managed intensive In-Home caseload of 10 families. Responsibilities included home visitation, attended team treatment meetings, coordinated referrals for providers and provided transportation to services, taught parenting and budgeting to families.
