The core objective of RTM Modernization project is to enable and drive the successful migration of the on-premise middleware services to AWS. Responsibilities:

• Develop automated test scripts using ATDD(Java/Cucumber).

• Prepared the high level and detailed gherkin scenarios for each web service planned to migrate and made sure to cover all the functional and regression cases with the mandatory and optional inputs given in the Specification documents.

• Provided support with all core web service technologies, including WSDL (Web Service Description Language) and SOAP tool

• Documented the steps in detail to integrate the java code and gherkin feature file.

• Fixed bugs in Java code while executing the Gherkin feature files in ATDD.

• Execute smoke and functional and regression testing of API in each wave migration to ensure that web services are having required functionalities in AWS.

• In Performance testing used Service Virtualization tool to virtualize the SOAP based web service endpoints.

• Monitored Splunk during each run to verify and validate the scenario of hitting the exact endpoint and Backend host and look for any gateway route change.

• Defining Performance Test Strategy approach for each wave migration pertaining to existing TPS information considering the insight expected by Client.

• Defining the Test Scenarios based on each migration through Load, Stress and Endurance Testing.

• Prepared Test scripts using Jmeter for the performance run and giving attention to detail on each performance run to match the pass criteria for the run.

• Prepared the performance run test data sheet to compare each run for consistency of parameters used for testing and capturing the observations for further insight.

• Made sure the pass criteria for each run is acceptable and goes by the benchmark set for the migration.

• Coordinated with clients on monitoring the database performance during each performance run to make sure the load on each run does not hamper the database memory.

• Run performance testing during each rehydration for all clusters to monitor no major changes were reported w.r.t. to traffic on each service.

• Prepared sign-off report on performance test performed with detailed analysis on each of the parameters covering service latency, target response time, CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization in AWS.

• Documented detailed Test plan and test strategy for each Wave migration covering all the insights on each stage of migration with entry and exit criteria.

The Capital One Loan Origination System (CLO) deals with the underwriting and funding processes for auto loans. An auto loan application can come into the CLO system through various ways. Because of this the origination process is split into two main lines of business that are treated differently:

Direct: Customer interacts directly with Capital One for auto loans. This would include internet applications, refinance and some partner submitted applications. Direct applications are then further segmented based on Prime and Subprime.
