• Architectural drawing and specification review (e.g., divisions 05-10 & 13), development of scope of work, pre-bid jobsite walkthroughs as required, material takeoff, consult with general contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors, prepare and submit RFI’s, RFP’s and RFQ’s, determine material cost and labor man hours, assist project managers, field foremen and supervisors, review of drawing and specification addendums.

• Material and product selection, consult with general contractors, architects, engineers, material vendors and fabricators to assure compliance with project plans and specification.

• Provide written proposals for submittal including detailed inclusion and exclusion to scope of work, tests, bonding and liquidated damages.

• Review contracts for compliance with submitted proposal and provide recommendations of revisions.

• Present progress reports, changes orders and work timetables to management and other stakeholders.

• Prepare material SDS’s, LEED and test reports for submittal.

• Carried out team handoff including project review with project managers, field supervisors and fabricators.

• Review shop drawings with creators, project managers, vendors, fabricators and installation team leaders for compliance with contract, final project plans and specifications.

• Assist with preparation of VMU’s and PMU’s for testing.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors, fabricators and contractors.

• Prepare, maintain, and submit AIA requisitions.

• Reconcile invoices from vendors, fabricators and contractors prior to payments.

• Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis.

• Manage any delays, emergencies, problems that arise and mitigate them to ensure the construction goes on smoothly.

• Explain contract and technical matters to others in a clear manner.

• Ensure that the construction project complies with OSHA safety and building regulations.

• Keep daily employee logs and progress reports.

• Attending project meetings as required.
