INVOLVED IN QA/QC

Review the contract documents (drawings and specification related to his discipline) and informing to the Construction manager, if any deficiency

Review Contractor’s submittals, related to project, and ensure its compliance with concept design, contract requirements and properly coordinated with other disciplines.

Review shop drawings, related to his discipline, and ensure its compliance with design requirements, contract requirements, properly coordinated with other disciplines and submitted as per the approved schedules.

Review and approval of Materials, related to his discipline, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and submitted as per approved Project Construction schedule. Any deviation from project specification shall be notified to the Construction Manager vide Material Approval Request (MAR) Verification form.

Regular visits to Project site to ensure the quality of work is in compliance with contact requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report any deviations to Construction Manager.

Make sure that the Contractor has submitted the Method Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and inspection & Test Plan (ITP) prior to stating the relevant activity. Inspection & Test Plans and other Quality Verification Forms address all necessary information outlined in the project specification or in the Manufacturer recommendations.

Review and approval of Method Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) as submitted by Contractor and ensure its compliance with all contract requirements.

Coordinate with COMPANY Senior QA Engineer to establish the intervention point in the proposed Inspection and Test Plan.

Reviewing Field Design Changes, related to his discipline, as submitted by Contractor by giving the technical position addressing any foreseen cost and Time Impact.

Technical support and assessment to Contracts Engineer and Cost Engineer of Trend Notices, approved variations and claims (when raised by Contractor).

Advise PMT Quality and Safety Engineers as well as Construction Manager of noticed non-compliance cases during site visits.

Regular spot checks of material delivered to site, related to his discipline, and direct the relevant Inspector! Engineer to continue inspection of stored materials on-site to ensure it is as per approved materials and in good condition.

Closely monitor inspector/engineer performance and advises the Construction Manager in case of deficiency or poor performance.

Technical support to PMT Planning Engineer with respect to the precedence of activities related to his discipline and optimum duration of each activity.

Attend Technical Meetings with the Contractor, and Weekly Progress Meetings if required by Construction Manager.

Ensure fun coordination between all other disciplines / Trades has been carried out for all External and Internal MEP services.

Review spare parts, operation & mainten2nce manuals of trades related to his discipline and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Participate with PMC disciplines in reviewing the Close Out Report as submitted by the CONTRACTOR.

Review As-Built drawings related to his discipline as submitted by the Contractor. As-built drawing shall be properly coordinated with the site Inspection Team to make sure that it matches all site changes.

Review the all submarine cable project 132 kv power supply specification & requirement to ensure the quality of work.

Responsible to endorse the daily permit as “Operating authority” & apply the new Ecpw permit through “RAP net” system.

Contractor to adhere the permit to work “Ecpw “system to implement proper permit to work procedure.

Attend the Weekly management construction meeting about construction, installation & quality related work, timeline of project, proper manpower assignment of contractor.

Preparation of daily, weekly report & submit to Qatar petroleum Sr. project engineer.

Regular monitoring site to ensure the quality of work has to be maintaining of project as per ITP/QCP.

This project is involved on construction& commissioning to supply two 132 kv redundancy feeder to halul 132 kv new substation at “Halul Island” through subsea cable, installation 2 No’s of 60 Mvar tap changing shunt reactor, RMS system, 2 No’s RTCC panel & 132 kv, 800 power cable along 48 core fiber optic cable laying with three no’s of joint in between subsea cable to land cable, SVL Link box, Partial discharge system, Distributed temperature system (DTS) & lighting, earthing system including fire & gas installation. Involve in pre-commissioning & commissioning of 2 feeder land & subsea cable LV parameter testing including cable impedance, Ras - Laffan to Halul, end to end test, differential stability, shunt reactor REF stability test and interlock test. Installation of Fire & Gas System in the Field such as Push Button, Horn & Beacon and Fire Detection System

This project is involved on construction of (33 kV substations which is feeding from kahramma through redundancy feeder by 300 2.5 KM interface, one LV substation in brown field which is feeding from new 33 KV substation, installation & eraction of 33/11KV power distribution transformer, 33 &11 KV switchgear metal clad with SF6 circuit breaker, 11KV motor, power factor panel, interposing relay panel, LV switchgear & lighting, earthings system. Also involve in pre-commissioning & commissioning activity on relevant system in substation.REF stability testing, differential scheme testing, inter close between upstream to downstream incomer breaker, installation & commissioning, witness for all protection relay setting and testing, Attend the SAT (site acceptance test) Responsible for field Instrument installation including Fire & Gas system, Instrument calibration, cable pulling from field to Control Room, JB installation and Glanding & Termination, Installation of Instrument and Execution of Inspection as per ITPs and QCs for each phase of instrumentation activities with Quality control department for final acceptance.
