PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Central Mutual Insurance Company May 2021 - August 2023 Illinois Marketing Manager Chicago, IL. I was tasked with the challenge of putting Central Insurance back on the map for the state of Illinois. We had about a dozen agencies with Central and I have utilized all of my old relationships built over the years to get more agencies on board but more importantly to light the currently contracted agencies on fire again. Many of these agencies I had dealt with in the past and because of my positive and strong experiences I had a fantastic head start. In addition, I was working hand in hand with Underwriting, loss control, claims, and IT to make a great impression and make it easier for my agencies to place business with Central. For the year 2022, I succeeded in surpassing all my annual goals, personal and commercial, as well as being proud to have Illinois as the most profitable state in the midwest region of Central. Personal Lines annual Goals for 2023 have already been met this year, actually succeeded in 2 times the goal. Commercial will also be surpassing annual goals by the end of 3rd quarter.

Utica National Insurance Group (and Founders) Apr 2019 — May 2021 Regional Field Underwriter Chicago, IL / Atlanta, GA. I was responsible for increasing new commercial submissions by revitalizing and rebuilding company relationships with assigned agencies throughout Georgia. Also responsible for initiating, coordinating and attending Loss Control visits. Exceeded first year goals by successfully establishing positive and profitable relationships built on trust throughout the assigned GA territory. February 2020 I was transferred back to Chicago to oversee marketing efforts for Founders Non- Standard Property & Casualty lines while responsible for soliciting and managing 143 agencies throughout Illinois. I was soon promoted to Senior Marketing Representative in Illinois for Utica commercial agencies. Seneca Insurance Company June 2017 - Aug 2018 Senior Business Developer Chicago, IL Responsible for the growth and development of the Specialty Package division of Seneca Insurance including commercial real estate, light manufacturing and distribution risks. In addition to promoting awareness of the Seneca name to existing agency affiliation, I focused on establishing new relationships throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana while concurrently underwriting new commercial accounts and renewals. Created a team approach to agency relations with Claims and Loss Control to ensure a smooth policy term for the insured, as well as risk management benefitting the insured and Seneca.

Tokio Marine North America Oct 2012 — Feb 2017 Business Development Director Chicago, IL. Accountable for marketing and business development of all major segments of Tokio Marine’s underwriting services (US Middle Market, Large Casualty, Inland Marine, and Ocean Marine) throughout IL, IN, MN, WI, MI, MO, OH and TX. Successfully established new agency relationships to generate new business submissions to Tokio Marine and was designated the key contact for all agency inquiries for potential new business. Headed strategy and portfolio development initiatives for niche markets. Increased brand awareness of company’s suite of services and forged strong personal relationships in the industry by hosting client events, participating in association functions with producers such as the Illinois Manufacturing Association. Established several new agency relationships which still stand strong to this day.

Originally started with Tokio Marine as the First Senior Production Underwriter to focus solely on creating and growing the US Domestic middle market for Tokio Marine. Served as marketing conduit to introduce and actively promote Tokio Marine’s non-Japanese commercial business service with current agencies and expanded solicitation to new agencies for purposes of underwriting all new US business. As the appointed face of Tokio Marine, I was trusted with a large LOA to underwrite all lines of business including Property, GL, Auto, Inland Marine, WC, and Umbrella. Coordinated Loss Control, acted as liaison for initial claims and all legal issues and responsible for promoting Tokio Marine at seminars and agency conferences.
