Operations Manager - Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Hudson’s Bay 2016 - 2017

Reporting to DVP, managed up to 100 staffs in four different shifts with two supervisors and four coordinators.

Led the quality team responsible for resolving system issues during the implementation of a $60 million vertical storage. This allowed for root-cause analysis and new process development during transformation that boosted inventory accuracy and order pick errors from 16 pallets/day defects to less than a pallet/day.

Hired and trained staff to enhance employee engagement using Lean principles, achieved successful inventory cycle count and increased inventory accuracy by 5% while eliminating dead inventory.

Defined KPIs for in-house inspection at six warehouses on reverse supply chain to monitor product quality and vendor quality performance.

Senior Manager - Supply Chain Strategy Sears Canada 2012–2014

Directly reporting to the SVP Supply Chain, actively participated in the weekly COO meetings, and developed a cost reduction master plan for the supply chain team using project management tools. Monitored $15 million in savings through different projects.

Reduced operating costs of a distribution center by $2 million per year through: layout changes, process re-engineering, procurement of new equipment, re-structuring the organizational chart and re-defining roles and responsibilities to improve accountability.
