Project Manager, 02/2023 – present
Assigned to the Federal Government of Canada program for implementing the Health Care program, transitioning it from Sun Life.
Project manager for the Security Gap Remediation project. Tasked with closing the gaps for access reviews, role-based access, and password length and rotation for the July 1st, 2023 implementation date for over 50 applications. Developed a Jira board to log the gaps as Epics and Stories and the associated applications as sub-tasks and worked closely with application owners and their teams.
Activities included daily standups, status reporting, risk and issue management, and interaction with senior management and program/project team members.
Started work on the Federal Government of Canada program for implementing the Dental Care program, transitioning it from Sun Life on July 2, 2023. Assigned tasks were similar to the items listed above for the Health Care plan.
Wellington-Altus Private Wealth
Project Manager, 08/2022 – 12/2022
The project built and implemented an Enterprise Data Analytics Platform with an AWS and MS Azure infrastructure base in five months. Components include AWS Redshift/S3/Glue, Lambda, Cognito, and MS Power BI.
The team worked closely with Softchoice to build the Azure Infrastructure and Power BI and with Apocela to develop the Private link to O365 and Power BI.
Responsible for the planning, day-to-day execution, management, implementation, and reporting of the project.

Allocated to the Basel III project for Finance, implementing the OSFI Capital Adequacy Requirements for Credit Risk for the Internal Ratings-Based Approach.
Worked with vendor Wolters Kluwer for database, both front and back design and implementation. Worked closely with Accounting and Risk Modelling to develop capital, market, and operational risk models.
Coordinate completion of required project governance documents/artifacts to meet corporate guidelines.
Assisted in developing business and functional requirements, mandate documents, and test strategy/plans.
Managed the sub-project to build the Azure Cloud infrastructure for the T24 Core Banking migration.
Worked with vendors Temenos, Central 1, and Deloitte to address the Azure build, file input/outputs, and network/firewall configurations.
