I completed Jefferson State’s fast track program for Dental Assisting. Many labs, many hours of studying, learning and asking questions to the instructor if I didn’t understand. I also have still been studying the books even though class is over and I’m currently waiting on my certification to come by mail. I am more than ready to get into an office and start learning hands-on, whether I am just answering phones or actually working chair side with a dentist. I feel completely confident and more than ready to get to work! After I get into an office, I would like to further my education by receiving the EFDA certification if allowed. As well as finish my Spanish classes and any other academic requirements that would add to my education.

Additional Information

• I have now completed my Certification in Dental Assisting. I was enrolled in nightly online classes, and finished the fast track program through Jeff State quickly. I am currently waiting on my certificate to come in and I am ready to start working! Anytime, any day, I am available.

• Continuing my education: I am also currently studying Spanish and will be taking a Spanish course over the summer.

• After a year of hands on experience working in an exceptional dental clinic, I plan to again continue my education to become a Dental Assistant EFDA

• I have currently been studying Spanish and plan to add a Spanish class this summer @ Jefferson State so I will learn to become Bilingual.

• As I do currently have some knowledge in scheduling, billing, treatment planing, collections and office management, I am still planning to add as much experience and knowledge in those areas as well as the dental charting programs such as Dentrix.
