Music Web App

o This project is a music web app that takes advantage of the API Spotify provides, developed using the Django tech stack and tailwind css for frontend styling

o The web app allowed for users to create accounts, search for music, like and dislike songs, create playlists, follow other users, and get song recommendations based on a form they can fill out o The web app also features an activity feed in which users likes and dislikes appear chronologically in the feed in the form of “posts”. There is a global feed of all user activity on the site and filtered feed for activity of the users one follows.

o This project was done in a team setting, in which I was the leader of 5 other individuals

o This project was creating a website for my father who is trying to grow his presence in the art community. o Developed using the Django framework, the site consists of a home page, gallery page, contact page, and commissions page.

o Within the gallery page paintings can be filtered and each painting can be selected to bring up a page with more information about the painting.

o Bootstrap CSS was used to style the website and make it responsive.

Inter Process Communication (IPC) Timer

o This project timed the communication time between processes for six different IPC mechanisms o Programs written in C were used to make Linux system calls to spawn processes using threads, start communication between the threads, and time the communication. o The SYSV and POSIX implementations of semaphores, shared memory, and message queues were tested. o A front end made with python allowed users to select which mechanisms to test and how many trials to run as well as to output statistics in the form of graphs for users to see. o This project was done in a team setting following the Scrum methodology for development. I was a part of the development team with two others.
