Accountable for the technology deployment team delivering the highest value technical solutions for multiple business areas in North and South America. The technology deployment team's function is to (1) facilitate all technical work for deploying new commercial products; (2) support new application areas or problem-solving for existing products; (3) serve as a single point of contact for assigned transportation and oil company accounts.

Leadership & Team Development Highlights:

Daily responsibilities included direct management of twelve technology deployment project managers; development and facilitation of technical strategy to meet business objectives; collaboration with commercial and sales partners to implement technical portfolio of $10MM budget.

•Developed and implemented a best-in-class training program for Engine Oil technology deployment members based on adult learning principles to reduce on-boarding time from 18 months to 6 months (ability to do independent work): This program included in-time learning with theory, learning assignments, and mentoring.

•Developed and implemented technical team leadership development roles to provide development opportunities for future leaders: resulted in promotion of five individual contributors to management level or team leadership.

•Developed and delivered content for multiple training areas: Project management, Negotiating change, corporate safety initiative, and corporate culture change initiative.

•Delivery performed in-person and remotely with different media (recordings, classroom, and individual study).

•Facilitated peer mentoring circle Women in Lubrizol ERG: one member changed her conversation with her boss and gained a salary-grade promotion.

•Developed and delivered content for training workshops to provide development tools, including MS Project (external vendor), project management, team leadership, implementation of corporate change initiative, and corporate PDACE system.

North America Business Manager, Industrial Products (05/2011-01/2013)
