I.Production and operation

Responsible for a team of 20 peoples.

Plant operation and management

New plant commissioning

DCS operation (Emerson Delta-V, Honeywell & Polaris)

Unit operations involved in Reactors, Distillation towers, Heat exchangers, Extractor & Storage tanks

Plant startup and shutdown execution

Sanctioning authority of leave and overtime.

Planned and unplanned equipment maintenance

Routine checkup of all process equipment.

Standard operating procedure (SOP) preparation and validity extension review.

Controlling and maintaining process parameters (Pressure, temperature, level, flow & etc.,).

Lean manufacturing & Six sigma

Co-ordinate with the technical and maintenance service department to solve the problem.

Handling various work permits (Hot Work, Vessel Entry and Cold Work etc.) for maintenance work.

Trouble shooting and down time reduction.

Improving the house keeping by implementing ā€˜5-Sā€™, Kaizens concepts in the Workstation.

Creation of Safety observation & audit in SHE portal.

Process cycle time monitoring and reduction.

Preparing department budgets (Revenue &Capex)

process modification request through MOC

Responsible for technical training of all new staff.

Pre start up safety review (PSSR), Process hazard analysis (PHA) for new process,

Pilot plant and lab trial study for process improvement and modification

Design of heat exchangers, condenser, pipe line modification

V. Process safety, HSE & Sustainability

Training of new employees on regular intervals to enhance their operational capabilities and safety knowledge on the process and operations

Conducting onsite, localized mock drill and acting as site incident controller(SIC)

Conducting contract safety management training for all contract workers.

Active line supervisor in DUPONT safety audit team.
