Directed key IT development functions, with strong focus on assisting this international company that had recently established a presence in North America in the development of a problem management board.

Risk Management - Process Development
Aetna/CVSHealth - Transformed Aetna’s waterfall project management teams into an Agile (SAFe) environment so projects could be on time and on budget.
Infosys Limited / Aetna - Gathered information from dozens of groups within insurance giant so they could convert from paper notices to downloadable PDFs. I.e. Explanation of benefits, Claims notices, customer advertising. This transformation alone could save $250 million a year.
Infosys Limited / Travelers - Coached Agile teams while transforming the Customer Journey. The goal was to make the development teams see the insurance experience through the customer’s eyes to make better IT programming decisions, we used Customer Journey Maps as it allowed us to see how difficult it was for the customer to navigate through the web based systems to check on claims, explanations of benefits or to make payments.
Optum / UnitedHealth – Coached and trained 30 teams and all new on-boards how to use the Agile methodology and Rally (CA Central). As Scrum master lead teams to migrate from physical servers to Virtual servers on EMC. Also lead the teams to use Terraform to create code to spin up virtual servers as part of the actual code. This cut back on the amount of personnel by 80%. Group went from 320 when I started and by the time we finished only 40 were needed saving millions per year.
Computer Science Corp / United Technologies – At UTC managed 3 dozen small projects to consolidate servers and server farms to new locations or to virtual environments, mainly Informatica servers, this saved UTC approximately $1 mil per year. Also help develop methods for shrink wrapped packages to be stored and deployed after approval using Arriba. Desktop support to install new software was no longer needed as it was deployed through Remedy.
Cigna – Streamlined the testing processes to speed time to market on new customer portal deployments. If large customer comes on board and wishes insurance for its employees, the portal created for them was not cookie cutter and needed performance tested on all of the customizations.
