Selected Accomplishments

Resolved a significant problem dealing with large production gaps in delivery and on time schedule to customer. Defined goals and expectations incorporating lean initiatives. Maximized engineering support and opened more effective means of communicating with the customer. Implementation of these new initiatives reduced rework costs by 25% and increased on time customer delivery by 24%. Additionally, we were able to reduce cycle time on several key assemble parts by 50%.

Developed and Implemented new Production Control policies and procedures where the previous policies were ineffective. Conducted daily production meetings and defined weekly goals for production staff. Established both short- and long-range planning schedules for parts and raw materials along with a long-range production plan that resulted in a 23% improvement of customer on time delivery, 50% improvement on key part numbers and a 35% reduction in backlog.

Created and Implemented new programs designed to resolve issues with Plant Safety. Plant Safety rating was the worse in the division and needed new initiatives for a healthier and safer plant along with lower insurance ratings.
