SQL SSRS Reporting Analyst - Team Lead January 2017 - September 2023 Gentiva Health Services - Hospice Division Mooresville, NC Developed SSIS packages and stored procedures for ETL of new employee hires and rehires. Translated input CSV file containing hundreds of employee records from the recruiting system into output XML files containing typically 20-30 employees for the human resources system. Developed stored procedures to populate refresh-able spreadsheet of conflicting patient diagnoses that were problematic for billing department. Processing was run overnight to ensure spreadsheet responsiveness for end users during the day. Developed SSIS packages to populate and email SSRS-generated hospice forms requiring physician signatures.

Developed SSRS report to provide list of Alabama Medicaid missing elements to billing department. Processing compared 135 different combinations of patient diagnoses against their required patient forms, suppressing returned records if specific coordination notes existed for the patient.

Developed SSIS package to email hundreds of separate Veteran's Recognition Reports to heads of branches around the country. Reports read from database tables containing over a billion records of veterans' answers to various questions. Developed SSIS package to import EDI 834s (benefit enrollment). Developed SSIS packages and stored procedures for ETL of patient, pharmacy, prescriber, eligibility, claims, and drug information. Developed technical designs, defined test procedures, tested, implemented and documented database objects. Developed SSIS package to generate EDI 835s (remittance advice/explanation of benefits) for State of Wyoming. In order to ensure full compliance with the standard, the process loaded the 835s back into the database for full auditing prior to being copied out to the web server. Designed and created SSAS cubes utilized by numerous state government prescription drug monitoring programs. Claims were categorized into dimensions of geographical location for patient, prescriber, and pharmacy, as well as drug information including DEA schedule, therapeutic classification, brand vs. generic, over-the-counter vs. prescription, and government benefit information including program codes and plan IDs. Responsibilities included the daily maintenance of the SchoolSports.com website, including database maintenance and optimization, modification of look and feel, and general navigation capabilities.

Created functions summarizing ad impression data, giving management ability to pinpoint time and place of users viewing and clicking through all site ads and web pages. Created online polls, allowing users to vote for their favorite players, capturing votes in a SQL Server database. Overall results were shown on user-redirected web page, assigning percentages of the vote along with graph bars to the respective candidates. Created web pages allowing users to enter contest, capturing and error-handling user-input data in a SQL Server database.

Increased efficiency and decreased hosting costs by having servers provide dual functionalities, thus reducing total number of required servers.

Planned, organized, and implemented the changing of hosting companies, requiring the transfer and configuration of software programs, application programs, operating systems, and databases. Company layoffs in January 2001 resulted in my being the only employee remaining from a total of nine in Technology department. Website page views remained consistent through this transition.
