2017 – Present

HVAC Technician – ABM Industries

Operate and inspect A/C, Refrigeration, Heating and Ventilation, units and machinery to determining that all are functioning properly.

Operate Building Management Systems (BMS).

Install and repair electrical materials, equipment, and machinery working from blueprints, drawings, lay-outs, or other specifications.

Inspect, isolate problems, and repair defects in lighting, electrical wiring and equipment using motorized machinery, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment.

Determine calculation of electrical loads and feed

Dismantle equipment/fixtures and plan systematic replacement or repair of accessories and parts and return equipment to operation.

Coordinate maintenance work with other departments and divisions; maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

Periodically perform preventative maintenance programs.

2014-2017

Chiller Techncian - Carrier Rentals

Technical skills include troubleshooting, diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, and operation of Trane, Carrier, NU Temp, and York mechanical systems. This would include commercial equipment such as HVAC, heat exchangers, air handlers and cooling towers, air conditioning and pumps for water, air cooled chillers; helical screws and centrifugal equipment.

Mechanical skills include but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and general machine upkeep.

Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer’s specifications through the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, testing devices and any specialized tools.

Load or unload equipment or components from customer owned or common carrier vehicles.

Maintain safe work practices in support of the OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards as it applies when performing the assigned duties.

2004 - 2014

Generator, Chiller, Temperature Control Rental Technician - Empire Power Systems

Install, service and maintain a fleet of over 100+ units from 20kw up to 2 meg generators
