Duties Include:

Answering phone calls to make appointments for registration and/or answer any questions the parent/guardian may have regarding registration, Summer School, Continuing Education, pre-school, etc.

Providing the necessary packet of forms for registration (Kindergarten differs from 1 – 12) and explaining what is included in the packet and the necessary forms needed to complete registration.

Alerting the secretaries at corresponding schools (Middle/High) of new registration, change of address via e-mails. Copying in the Student Registration Enforcement Officer, as well, so residency checks can be conducted. Follow up by sending the paperwork via inter-office mail. Alerting the secretaries at corresponding schools (Elementary) of new registration, as well as the Secretary for the COO and the Student Registration Enforcement Officer via e-mail of new registration, change of address. Hard copies to follow to both secretaries and COO’s office.

Explaining to parent/guardians the Boundary Line Waivers and then forwarding the forms to the office of the Superintendent to be approved or denied.

Working with the Student Registration Enforcement Officer sending out closed reports to the corresponding school secretaries. Making follow up phone calls requesting missing information included on the reports.

Putting together registration packets for grades 1 – 12.

Contacting the parent/guardian when mail is returned as to their new address and informing them a Change of Address form needs to be completed and turned into the Registration office. After form is turned in, giving a copy so a residency check can be conducted.

Assisting any parent/guardian who have questions regarding registration, change of address, etc. without an appointment. Explaining what is included in the packets and highlighting the Student Registration Checklist with them.
