I completed the daily operating task, reviewing the night audit reports and putting that information in a spreadsheet that breaks down the ADR, occupancy, revenue and daily hotel expenses showing the difference from the prior year.

Using the information from the spreadsheet I was able to determine the daily cost of breakfast and guests. Created the housekeeping reports and tasks for the day also for the shuttle driver, maintenance and front desk. I revised the guests' questions and complaints, returning their calls and emails resolving the problem and offering discounts, dinner on me and even hopes of them returning. Don't like anyone walking away unsatisfied. I was the sales {champion} took care of all the inbound and outbound sales, leads on new clients . Did all the billing for the direct bill accounts and 3rd party. Watching the rates and adjusting depending on occupancy and events nearby. I was the front desk manager and since our GM was building a hotel out of town I was left in charge 90% of the time, corresponding with him daily via text, call or email. It is with pleasure that I write a letter of recommendation for Kasi DeWitt. I had the pleasure of working with Kasi for 2 years while I was the General Manager of the Best Western®Tolleson-Phoenix. Kasi was a front desk agent when we purchased the hotel. She had been with the hotel since 06. Upon my initial meeting with Kasi, it was determined that not only would we retain her, but discovered she was being underutilized and quickly made her our Front Desk Manager soon learning she knew everything about the property. You will know within minutes of meeting her that she is passionate about all she does and will do. Kasi proved herself to be a team player and provided staff training of the system and processes as we were converting the hotel to the BW flag. She learned the new systems within days and was able to educate the staff in every department not only did she teach she would jump in and fill any position that needed assistance. If she didn't know how to do something Kasi would learn how by the end of day she was very good at self teaching. Kasi was instrumental in our near perfect score on the initial BW inspection we had 4 while I was manager. We qualified for the President Award twice. In addition, Kasi spear headed our BW Rewards sign up program which exceeded our goal by 1,014 percent leading all District 1 hotels. During my time as manager I was working on other projects and would be off property for long periods of time during this time Kasi would be in control corresponding with me via text and phone call. She did all the scheduling, payroll, sales while I was away. During that time she would work 50+ hours a week when needed, reaching out to me for my approval on certain situations. Kasi knowledge, quick learning and CAN DO attitude would be an asset to any company looking for a GREAT service oriented employee. I enjoyed my time working with her. We made a great team.
