•Managed the operation, development and use of the IMS Fabtrack application used for the material management functions of the Voyageur Upgrader Project. The project had $1.6B of inventory under management found at three major locations in the Greater Edmonton and Woodbine areas of Alberta. The scope of work started with receiving Engineering Bill of Material data for Isometric drawings and ended with the issue of equipment or material to Contractors on the Voyageur job site.

•Responsible for the development and implementation of business procedures and work practices for the project and the integration of supporting technology.

•Project Lead for the successful implementation of Radio Frequency Identification technology in the Fort McMurray Voyageur work site in November 2012. Supported the development of the work lay down grids and warehouse storage facilities. Supplied tactical support for the Material Coordinators at the Acheson warehouse facility and the Voyageur site.

•Project Manager of a team responsible for the choice of a Transportation Management System for the Voyageur project.

Established procedures and metrics to measure shipping schedules, picking performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction ratings. Improved internal controls related to outbound shipments. Major improvements in productivity, reductions in employee absenteeism and improved employee morale were achieved in 4 months.

Manager – Inventory Control and Investment Recovery – February 2011 to December 2011

Managed a team of four Inventory Examiners responsible for performing inventory audits at all warehouse locations throughout the province. Established procedures for managing count schedules and inventory adjustments.

Managed a team of five Sales and support staff and five Operational staff responsible for the Investment and Recovery Group. Established a Sales Revenue Forecasting model and an outsourcing procedure for scrap Cable with a major Scrap contractor.

•Detour Gold Corporation – Detour Lake Mine – achieved and kept a 96.5% inventory accuracy, implemented a Vendor Managed Inventory program using Vending Machines significantly increasing time on tools for the processing plant. Maintained Zero LTI’s.

•Coast Capital Savings - Successfully directed the development and implementation of a corporate Contract Repository using the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 product.

•Bemac - Jacos – Hangingstone Expansion Project – Established the process and system for tracking trailers waiting to be returned to the carrier – significant reduction in demurrage costs. Completed the construction of a temporary site warehouse – $40K under budget.

•Bantrel - Surmont 2 – Established procedures to improve the accuracy of site inventory within the site warehouses and laydown yards. Accuracy improved from 55% to 95% in 2 months.
