Work History

2015-Present: West Rock Saw Mill. My position at West Rock is that of a Saw Mill Utility. My various duties include but not limited to operating equipment to produce high quality lumber for our customers. I assist other employees when there is a situation with machinery or the product as it flows through the lumber yard for processing and though the final stages of completion.

2013-2015: Vogue International Distribution Center. While employed by Vogue, I worked as an inventory control specialist. I was in charge of keeping track of all products that come into the warehouse from the receiving process through the replenishment and picking/shipping process. I also help the receiving team with put away duties for incoming freight using stand up folk lifts. I assisted with shipment auditing on each pallet prior them being loaded for shipment.

2012-2013: Cott Beverage. My responsibilities as a Cott employee was that of a beverage concentrate mixer. As a mixer, I would be responsible for gathering ingredients and combine them in a manner that would produce the desired flavor and volume of concentrate. For eight months I was the sole mixer of our energy shot products and one of three mixer for soda stream products.

2009-2010: NCR Services/Menlo Logistic. I work as a temporary employeeo as a material handler for the Sequencing Center for NCR. I pulled stock for orders while maintaining an accurate inventory count. I used forklifts to load and unload trucks as well as complete all paper work needed for shipment.

2009-2010: Target Dept Store. I worked part time for target during the 2009 and 2010 Christmas Holiday season. I used RF scanners to pull stock from inventory as well as to receive new items into inventory. I also used scanners to perform inventory counts in the stock room.

2007-2013: Phillips and Associates Ground Maintenance. I worked full time as well as part time for the company as a Field Supervisor. I was in charge of handling the day to day operations for the numerous private, commercial, and residential sites that the company serviced. I supervised numerous employees and ten different sites. I was over the hiring process of field employees and responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all company vehicles and equipment.

2002-2007: Programmer Analyst-TSYS. As a programmer I worked with the development group enhancing and providing support for clients on the TS2ACE application system. My responsibilities included coding batch processes for online systems using JCL, COBOL, DB2 FILE AID, IMS, CICS, CA7 and ISPF/SDSF. I also use JES2, MQSERIES, and Vsam on a day to day basis. I also perform production support for over 50 clients and performed on call duties.

2001-2003: Wal-Mart Distribution Center. As a Wal-Mart employee was an order filler. My duties were to collect and prepare meat and produce products for delivery to the Wal-mart super centers across Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. This was done by using computerized headsets that instructed each team member to the location of the package, and the amount of each package to collect. I also used RF scanners to perform inventory counting.

1999-2001: Web Page Designer St. Bede Catholic Church. I started working at St. Bede as an intern from Alabama State University. During my time as an intern, I was in charge of developing and maintaining the web site for St. Bede’s Church, School, and Day Care center. After successfully completing my term as an intern, I was hired on to train future interns and maintain the web systems that I had designed.

1996-2000: Student Worker, Alabama State University. While at Alabama State, I worked as a secretary’s assistant. I also work for three months at Houston Hill Jr. High School during their after school program. I assisted teachers with the programs and performed substitution duties for teachers at the school.

1995-1996: Data Entry-Blue Cross\Blue Shield. During my senior year in high school, I work a co-op position with Blue Cross, I worked in the claims department where I was responsible for entering claim information in the computer systems of claims that were mailed into the company.

1993-1996: Cloth Doffer-Southern phenix Textile(Johnston Industry). While employed at Southern Phenix, I was in charge of collecting and preparing cloth for shipment to costumers of the textile mill. Collecting the material consisted of cutting, washing, dying, and wrapping the cloth for shipment. This was first a part job that I worked while in high which lasted though out my college career.
