Set up management systems for the Promise Neighborhood Grant in Grand Rapids Southeast Promise Neighborhood schools.
Communications liaison between Western Michigan University and Grand Rapids Schools district. Collected/analyzed data for grant requirements for federal reporting and identifying targets for project management of the grant.
Budget, website creation and maintenance, supervision of staff. Strategized compliance procedures between three teaching unions, ranging between 500-700 people per union, and the university. Improved mediation strategies for grievances and disciplinary processes. Refined upper management’s decision making through active research, supporting data, mostly qualitative and basic quantitative analysis.
Implemented the use of social media to enhance program awareness and post program and event updates, Instagram and Facebook.
Developed language for website content, maintained and updated website. Ameliorated communication among students and program objectives via surveys to enrich program development and attraction, analyzed data and wrote final reports. Improved student workflow and scheduling to meet the demands of guest occupation considering students class schedule. Accommodated between 300-350 guests per year in a three-bedroom bed and breakfast. Strengthened communication between various departments to enhance infrastructure and guests’ experience. Implemented new strategies for bookkeeping and budgets planning.
