CAT operates as a “hospital without walls” where we are working in Santa Rosa County to provide services to children between the age of 4- 21 and their families. The work we do is trauma informed. Hired to lead diverse team of teachers and run before and after school at a Charter School. Fostered a high-producing work environment by applying strong interpersonal skills and program management ability.
• Managed a site of 140 elementary and middle school students, successfully recruiting and retaining families, all program evaluations and deadlines on time and under budget. Social Worker (Områdessekreterare at Resursenheten) Botkyrka, Sweden - 40hours/week Stockholm, Sweden 2015 – 2016
Social Services Botkyrka Department description: Resursenheten partners with schools, police and government agencies to work preventative and provide resources for young people between 14 years-22 years old and their families. With Resursenheten, I coordinated multiple projects, often with competing priorities and tight deadlines. The most nation wide known project is: MVP (Mentors in Violence Prevention), an American peer-to-peer violence prevention program. My main duties were;
• Counselled over 100 ”at-risk” high school students in 4 schools in Stockholm.
• Facilitated and quality improved “Safer internet” program for parents. Monitored program progression after the initial introduction for 6 months.
• Collaborated with department teams to develop annual financial and narrative progress reports and present these to the corresponding politicians. Saved over
$10,000.
• Facilitated lectures including instruments, guidelines, presentations, advocacy documents, best practices and lessons learned in the areas of violence prevention and gender equality to stakeholders in the entire Stockholm region.
• Supplied Ministries of Education and other national decision makers with policy guidance and technical support for development and monitoring of new and revised legislative frameworks. Ensured that these comply with regional and international human rights instruments and standards.
• Coordinated with 10 senior advisors of social services, 20 decision makers, 8 Ministries of Education, and 120 Swedish Police officers in the areas of Violence Prevention and Gender equality.
• Developed a package of advocacy documents on the estimated adolescent prevalence of ill health and criminality and its associated risk factors amongst adolescents in Stockholm, including policy recommendations.

Taught grades 1-5 using blended learning approach. Implemented Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) and “Taget” programs at Karsby International.
• Designed and led MVP and Taget (violence prevention program for grades K-6) project scope, approach, and timeline, then organized focus groups and community meetings, conducted surveys, analyzed outreach results, and created a presentation of findings with recommendations for social services, “Resursenheten”.
